1. How do I become a Lieutenant Governor?

Updated: Aug 3, 2020

In order to run for this position, you must attend Candidate Training Conference (CTC), which is usually a joint event hosted by Region 3 and Region 8. During CTC, current Lieutenant Governors inform attendees of the requirements and expected duties necessary to fulfill the position of a Lieutenant Governor. Next, you must complete the Service Agreement form which requires signatures from your school principal, faculty advisor, Kiwanis advisor, and region advisor. After submitting the form, you must turn in your literature by the deadline which is usually a month before Conclave, where candidates will give a speech and complete round(s) of caucus. Delegates, which are 2 members from each club, will vote for a candidate.
